WHAT MEANS KAWKA SZYJE?
First of all let me explane what means “KawkaSzyje” because probably for you is the most misterious name for a fashion brand.
The name of the brand is in Polish and it means simply “Jackdaw sews”.
Why Jackdaw? Because this is my surname! 😀 Cute isny it? 😉 That’s why on my logo it’s also Jackdaw.
My name is Ania Kawka, I’m from Poland and I stand behind everything that you see in my brand.
I design, make patterns, sew clothes, embroider, make photos and lots of different things that you doesn’t see but are important.
Where did the idea to create the KawkaSzyje brand come from?
I have an artistic soul, I like all forms of art. I love creating unique things. My brand was created out of the desire to share what I can do and my passion with others. So that you, my clients, can also feel this uniqueness while wearing my clothes.
If you like nature, beautiful old things with soul, vintage and romantic style, I’m sure that you will find something for you in my collection. 🙂
WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE MY BRAND?
I know that every woman is different, we have different body shapes, different proportions, different heights. While designing clothes, I try to think about women of all ages and sizes. My collection includes models that suit various silhouettes. Most dresses have an adjustable waist to best fit you and make you comfortable.
In my store, you can also choose the skirt length from 3 lengths, so that each of you can choose the length that feels best for you. If you still don’t have your dream length, all is not lost – write to me and I will sew the length you want.
I sew to order, so I can make any changes to a given model. Write to me if you want me to sew clothes with modifications only for you.

I want every woman wearing KawkaSzyje to feel comfortable, but at the same time feminine and elegant.
NATURALNESS.
I sew from natural fabrics, mainly linen and wool, so when you wear my clothes you can feel even closer to nature.
I fell in love with linen and the way it nicely wraps the body. The lightness and comfort it gives.
LIGHTNESS.
My clothes are casual, airy and comfortable. My clothes are elegant and comfortable in the same time. Every piece is designe to emphasize the waist and make you feel amazing.
I adhere to the rule that comfortable clothes do not have to be ugly or inconspicuous, on the contrary!
SUBTLETY.
My clothes emphasize the beauty and figure of every woman, regardless of size and age. You won’t find dresses with very deep necklines or mini skirts here.
I adhere to the principle that clothes should emphasize beauty in a subtle way, and not reveal everything. Subtlety, femininity, charm – these are the words that guide me while creating my collections.
